My kind of lettuce ratio
She’s a beaut
Mayo? On an Italian?
Nice. No mayo on an Italian for me though
Looks great! I wanna see tomatoes, though.
Lettuce sandwich
Want some meat with that lettuce?
That looks bomb
Yeah that’s a No from me lettuce should not be 50% of the sandwich!!
It enough lettuce
A lot of lettuce
The salad!
Who didn’t you ask for extra lettuce?
i’m a big lettuce enjoyer, but if there’s so much lettuce that you have to unhinge your jaw to take a bite then you’ve gone too far
Take half that lettuce out and you have yourself a winner.
We call that a Greek Italian, lots of filler and not much meat.
Looks amazing besides the pound of iceberg lettuce on each half.

I desperately want one.
Looks killer! All it needs is a tomato slice 🙂

Only on Reddit could a sub about sandwiches somehow manage to be toxic af.
This looks excellent. Bread looks delicious.
This dude is SO butthurt some people don’t enjoy a lettuce sandwich
Tooooo much lettuce. That shouldn’t be the focus of any sandwich. Sorry not sorry.
I get it. It’s refreshing, it adds a crispity crunchiness to it, and when it’s doused in whatever dressing it almost carries it. I love this lettuce ratio, especially if it’s shredded really nicely. 10/10.
That’s a lot of lettuce for $14

Salad in a bread bowl (modern re-invention)
This guy is really upset about his shitty sandwich
Dude, this rocks. Fuck the lettuce haters.
The only thing plebeian here is the amount of lettuce. The sandwich looks good but that’s like 60% more lettuce than the sandwich needs. It’s a waste of produce.
There are other greens/vegetables than lettuce, there’s no reason for so much lettuce. It’s as ridiculous as if half the sandwich including bread was nothing but meat.
Bet it has good cronch but it needs to double the meat or halve the price.
With V&O this much lettuce is great to avoid the soggy bread situation.
Looks great – no pepperoncinis for me, it’s gotta be a hot pepper relish
idk pepperoni doesn’t belong on an italian, fight me
Waste of money
I am 99.9% sure I know what shop this is, I am from Oregon and I probably eaten 20 to 25 Burgers/ sandwiches at your shop, assuming you are the owner/employee that Italian sandwich is Criminal.
Edit:
Don’t understand the downvotes…
This is Tulu Shop in Portland, Oregon. Owners and employees are arrogant and dense. Food is not that bad but for thar area it is a expensive and a complete rip off. And for those asking why I have been there so many times is that I would order then Pick up, very little interactions. The past couple of times I went the I sat and ate, owner and employees are insufferable.
idc what anyone says this looks GAS🔥
